Who we are

Arcadian Health Specialists are able to provide you with advice and interventions for all types of conditions and injuries. They use the most recent evidence and research to support their decisions, diagnoses, recommendations, and management.

Arcadian Specialist Surgeons and clinical team members are all Australian trained. Our surgeons and physicians have received their qualifications through the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (RACS) and Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP). Further and more advanced subspecialised training has also been undertaken at recognised fellowships locally and internationally. Arcadian Specialists all hold qualifications with the American Board of Independent Examiners (ABIME) (CIME).

Arcadian Health Specialists enjoy relationships and work closely with a team of physiotherapists, dietitians, psychologists, occupational therapists, and other subspecialist doctors who all specialise in pre and post-rehabilitation and recovery. Communication, early intervention, and well organised care of patients are the focus of Arcadian Health Specialists with all patients that they treat and manage.

AboutUs-Banner.jpg

We have a special interest in joint health with a unique focus on prehabilitation. This conservative management technique of injuries and conditions underpins our philosophy of patient care to potentially avoid surgical intervention.

Proactive care of your joints and rehabilitation aims to:

  • Provide faster recovery time (post-surgery)

  • Less pain

  • Shorter hospital stays

  • Increased success rates/outcomes

  • Improved joint movement

Joint pain can be uncomfortable and limit your freedom of movement, usually because of pain and joint destruction. These can be caused by inflammation conditions involving any part of the joint.

  • Cartilage

  • Bone

  • Ligament

  • Tendon

  • Muscles

The most common source of pain with joints is arthritis which is inflammation or pain from within the joint. Prehabilitation care and promotion of overall joint health focussing on preventing joint wear and tear including inflammatory conditions is a priority of our Arcadian Specialists. Our Joint Protection Programme (JPP) is another benefit of engaging early with our specialist team at Arcadian.
